So, when I think I finally learnt this weird language (joking, joking, Nederlands is de mooiste tal van de wereld!:), found my way of interacting with children (actually by really being like one of them) decorated onze toilet into een echte piece of art (gratis ingang:), got to know more people than at home, made great friends, had a lot of crazy adventures, call Oostende en Brugge "home", have a kind of second family and and and... So after all these great things I m leaving
Belgium with most of my earthly belongings (with a less fancy expression with my f**ing heavy baggage filled with garbage - rhyme again:), my head full and empty (again:P) and feeling kind of ready for the changes.
Yepp, I took already my university courses and on the day after my arrival to
Hungary I ll start school, yippijee. But at least I won t have time ti think, feel self pity and miss
Belgium so badly. Anyway there are a lot of things and people waiting for me.
I m a bit tired of all the goodbyes and see u soons. Of course it s really nice to know that so many people care about me, ask why do I leave, do I leave for ever, do i come back and when, what will i do at home and of course the whole stuff is a good excuse for endless partying but after a week of organising, mailing and smsing, letting to know everyone in
Belgium that they should see me for the last time I got really tired. I welcome the familiar feeling of fullness and emptyness in the same time.
Last week I went to the boombal festival in Lovendegem - it was soooo great! We went for the first and for the last day - first with a guy who I got to know on the boombal in Oostende the week before and the last day with a really nice musician guy who i got to know on Saturday on the gypsy festival ( a friend of my African dance teacher s son) Ah yepp and we had a kind of house party since Jenny also moved out the same day as me. We packed, gave away a lot of stuff, suitcases, rucksacks, taking away all the posters and postcards from the walls ...
Anyway the party was great! We had an unexpected Turkish invasion (the friends of Cansaran who just came back from Paris) and Sammy, Aurora, steven, Kai, Fio and Stijn also came. We had great time a drank a looooot :P But I felt quite fresh next day.
The gypsy festival in Oostkamp was also great - Bratsch and La Panika were playing and I was shown in the tv dancing (at least some people said so:) Indeed I really enjoyed the music and played with some kids. We were running around like dogs - it was fun :)
Monday mornnig I hitchhiked back to Gent from Lovendegem from the festival (can you still follow the events?:P:) after a really uncomfortable night with hardly any sleep in a wet tent, feeling cold, zonder warme kleeren of blanket. Then I finished cleaning my room, put my package into a corner and went to mu-zee-um to greet our new Italian volunteer girl, Talita.
